2015 Ford Edge vs. 2015 Honda Odyssey

Do Central Illinois Families Want a 2015 Ford Edge?

The 2015 Ford Edge has hit the streets of Central Illinois, and considering how many drivers are opting for crossovers as their family vehicles, you might be giving the Edge some thought instead of a new minivan. But the Edge still has a ways to go; standard features consist of a 4.2-inch touchscreen display while other basic features are things drivers would be amazed not to find on a vehicle: air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, etc. Ford does have their MyFord Touch system and Ford Sync connectivity, but in order to get access to them, you need to upgrade the Edge past its basic SE trim level. The Edge can expand up to 73.4 cubic feet of cargo storage space, though, and that’s not bad for a crossover.

Thought crossovers have become the more popular family vehicle option, we know many Central Illinois drivers who have expressed a preference for a traditional family minivan. The 2015 Honda Odyssey comes with seating for up to eight, features an expandable cargo area with 148.5 cubic feet of cargo area, and comes with standard features that put it beyond the Edge in technology. Every Odyssey comes with with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rearview camera, SMS texting capabilities, Pandora internet radio, a USB audio interface, and more. The Odyssey has its fair share of optional amenities too, with the Touring Elite trim level sporting a Honda-exclusive vacuum cleaner.
